Studied technical physics in Linz, Melbourne and Vienna. Software-developer (DICE, Infineon) and sound engineer since 1995. Dissertation about magnetic nano-particles (2006). Author of numerous scientific publications and lecturer at international congresses. Interdisciplinary projects with musicians, architects, designers and media-artists at the crossroads of arts and technology. Lecturer at the FH St.Pölten since autumn 2010.

Founded La Gentz KG in 2007, together with Gregor Dorfbauer.

Education in the fields of electronics, computer sciences, administration and integration of information systems since 2003. Masters course in computer science since 2010 at Johannes Kepler University Linz. Expert in network-security, web 2.0 interfaces and software-design. Co-founder of hundsdreck.at (nominated by the jury of Ars Electronica 2006). Linux professional and amateur gardener.

Gregor is enthusiastic about scaleable back-ends and efficient solutions.

Secondary school for IT and business in Perg, masters course in computer science since 2010 at Johannes Kepler University Linz. Proud member of the volunteer fire brigade Tragwein. Interested in computer graphics, music and multimedia. At La Gentz since 2009.

Robert is our Linux whizz and responsible for the Yorus project.

Josef fluently speaks JavaScript (ExtJS and Sencha Touch) and develops server backends in .NET and Node.js. His newest hobby is Mongo-DB.

Michael works on client applications developed in .NET and server backends written in Python and therefore our man at the intersection between open- and closed-source projects.

Barbara Ortmayr BSc | Software development

Barbara develops rich-internet-applications with Ext JS and Sencha Touch, as well as server backends with Python.
